denied the right to receive a copy of their original birth certificate for
almost seven decades!

support for anyone separated by adoption.
American Adoption Congress(AAC)
This organization advocates for honesty, openess and respect in
adoption and foster care.
Birthparent Support Group, Ridgewood, NJ
This group meets once a month and provides ongoing support for birth
parents in all stages of the adoption process, including those who are
contemplating adoption, have placed their children for adoption, or are

International Soundex Reunion Registry
An organizaation providing an international soundex registry for those
separated by adoption, divorce, or foster care.
